Pieter\u00a0brengt een schat aan ervaring mee in zowel de chemische als de energiesector en heeft veel ervaring\u00a0in het vormgeven van strategische samenwerkingen\u201d<\/p>\n

Pieter Imhof (1962) heeft in 16 jaar verschillende management functies bekleed binnen AkzoNobel\u00a0Catalysts (later Albemarle Catalysts) in R&D, product & markt ontwikkeling en Technical Service. In\u00a0deze rollen heeft hij succesvol meerdere katalysatoren, katalysatorbouwstenen en additieven\u00a0ontwikkeld en wereldwijd gecommercialiseerd. Na Albemarle is de heer Imhof verantwoordelijk\u00a0geweest voor business development en strategisch account management voor de contract research\u00a0en systeem van de Catalysis business van Avantium Chemicals BV, in de periode waarin Avantium is\u00a0gegroeid van start up naar leidend chemisch, technologische onderneming. De heer Imhof heeft een\u00a0doctoraat in de chemie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam na studies chemie, bedrijfskunde en\u00a0bedrijfsstrategie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam respectievelijk Universiteit van Groningen<\/p>\n

Over BioBTX B.V.<\/h3>\n

BioBTX B.V. is een onderneming die op basis van haar eigen katalytische pyrolyse technologie\u00a0chemische stoffen (aromaten) uit groene grondstoffen haalt. BTX staat voor Benzeen, Tolueen en\u00a0Xyleen. Deze chemicali\u00ebn worden normaliter gewonnen uit aardolie en vormen de bouwstenen voor\u00a0onder meer kunststoffen. Door toepassing van de BioBTX technologie zal een aanzienlijke bijdrage\u00a0geleverd worden aan de verduurzaming van de productie van plastics en andere chemische\u00a0producten. De Rijksuniversiteit Groningen is wetenschappelijk partner van BioBTX B.V.<\/p>\n
